Flight Back

Clouds like snowThe clouds looked really cool on my return flight. Although nothing really interesting happened, I did take a few pictures. It almost looks like a landscape of snow. I thought it looked awesome. I only wish I could have taken a video of the landing in Philadelphia. The sky was clear, and we had to loop around the city before landing. It looked really cool from the window.

I found that because I have a yahoo account, I am already set up for Flickr. I actually uploaded a few pictures a long time ago, but I deleted them, and I plan on uploading some of my more recent shots soon. Wordpress sidebars are easy to come by for that, so expect to see one soon.

Pumpkin Carving - Pirate ShipI just wanted to post a picture. Maybe I should get a Flickr account. Everybody seems to have one.

I also thought I would use my “Asides” category, but that just puts the post into the sidebar. I like the idea of having some posts be less important, and much more brief, but I don’t like that kind of information landing in my sidebar. Maybe I should dedicate a whole sidebar just to “Asides.” Or maybe a page, although that would mean I would need to style it to go into the rest of the blog, but also have its own page. It sounds like a lot of work to me, so I might pass on that.

Maybe I can use the asides for song quotes, or is that too personal?

I need to get to blogging about useful stuff. Random information about someone else’s life isn’t a good reason to read something.
